The emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers who fall in love over the course of five years comes to Buxton for the first time.

Directed by Sallie Warrington, The Last 5 Years tells the story from both lovers' point of view; Cathy telling her story backwards, Jamie telling his chronologically, meeting just once in the show for their wedding.

With musical direction by Ashton Moore and featuring a live six-piece orchestra, this is an unconventional musical theatre experience but with soaring vocals and lush orchestrations, this intimate musical, while breaking your heart, will leave you humming the songs all the way home.
